Description:

· The CACSP is an apolitical committee formed by community members who want to make a difference in their community and who are willing to work in partnership with their Police department (Sûreté du Québec).

Mission:

· Bring a commitment by citizens of the community to be part of the solution in the Public Security prevention, in partnership with their police department (Sûreté du Québec).

CACSP objectives:

· Enable development of a safe living environment

· Increase the sense of security of families

· Increase the citizens engagement towards prevention and security

· Improve communication and confidence between citizens and their police department (Sûreté du Québec)

· Listen to citizens by taking care of their concerns

· Highlighting the values of the committee
